DMCA Policy

Overview

NipponVault ("nipponvault.com") respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We respond expeditiously to valid copyright infringement notices and remove or disable access to infringing content.

Important: NipponVault does not host or distribute full-length copyrighted video content. Short sample preview clips may be hosted for informational purposes only. For takedown of full-length content, please contact the relevant hosting platforms directly.

Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice

To file a copyright infringement notification with us, send a written notice to ✉ Email Us. Your notice must include all six of the following elements as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)(A):

Identification of the copyright owner

Identify yourself as the copyright owner or an authorised agent. Include a physical or electronic signature.

Identification of the copyrighted work

Describe the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed. For multiple works, a representative list is acceptable.

Identification of the infringing material

Provide the specific URLs on nipponvault.com where the infringing content appears. Do not send attachments. List all URLs directly in the body of your message.

Your contact information

Provide your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address. If acting on behalf of the rights holder, describe your relationship (e.g., legal counsel, authorised agent).

Good faith belief statement

Include the following statement: "I have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted material described above is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."

Accuracy statement under penalty of perjury

Include the following statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorised to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."

Incomplete notices will not be processed. As stated in 17 U.S. Code § 512(c)(3)(B), material that is not in substantial compliance with the requirements above will not be considered for action. Please write in English only.

Processing & Response

Properly submitted DMCA notices that comply with all six requirements above will be acted upon promptly. We will remove or disable access to the identified content. We do not send re-confirmation of takedown actions; please allow a reasonable period for review. If no action has been taken after a reasonable time, you may contact us again for reassessment.

Counter-Notification

If content you uploaded or submitted was removed in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was in error, you may submit a counter-notification to ✉ Email Us including:

  • Your physical or electronic signature;
  • Identification of the removed material and its location before removal;
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your district.

  • NipponVault does not host full-length copyrighted video content. Short sample preview clips may be present. For removal of full-length content, contact the originating platform directly.
  • Links and embedded media are presented "as is" as found on the web. We cannot guarantee their continued availability or accuracy.
  • Download links on this site point to third-party file hosting services. We do not host, store, or distribute any video files. For removal of hosted content, contact the respective file hosting platform directly.
  • Repeat infringers' content may be permanently disabled in accordance with our repeat-infringer policy.
  • Knowingly submitting a false DMCA notice may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
